“Hancock” is probably good as a comedy, but when it tries to get serious it get worse. The film truly obtains all the substantial characteristics to be a superhero movie but it lacks any of the heroic elements. There's barely any clash in “Hancock” is able to get you intensely concerned with the characters, which is why the film should've jammed with being a dark comedy rather than abruptly voyage over to melodrama.
