Next week, Classic Chops is going to lay the table for a special Thanksgiving edition that will feature themes of Thanksgiving, family get-togethers…and really, any particular film that involves sitting down and breaking bread. If you have written such an essay on a classic film in the past—say, for example, Sunday Dinner for a Soldier (1944)—I urge you to drop me a line at classicchops@gmail.com with the name of your site and a link to your essay (and if it’s not something you’ve written but are submitting on behalf of someone else, include that information too so you can receive an accolade or two.) All Thanksgiving Classic Chops entries need to be in my e-mail by Tuesday, November 22 at 6pm EST. So take time this week to sift through the archives for something suitable…and until next time, we’ll see you at the movies!
