After toying with scientific elements and action-packed adventure in Ekspedisi Madewa (Expedition of Madewa), director Franklin Darmadi changes gear in his sophomore effort. Taking inspiration from Frank Capra’s classic It’s a Wonderful Life, Darmadi’s latest film, Medley, ventures into an adult-drama category. At least if the following premise does really show up in a big screen: Aditya (Yosi Mokalu) is turning 30 in the next few days. He is unhappily married and stuck with an underpaid job. He keeps wishing for a chance to change his life for good. One day, his wish does come true. He is given a chance to change one event in the past that will result in a better present time.
