Another Hollywood re-cycling for the phenomenon Asian horror, the genre which currently in Asia itself has begin to loose its brightness. The original Japan version is one that can be say just a same difference method with all of the predecessors, especially “Ring” or “The Grudge”. What’s made it different and then became another bright blockbuster in Asia was the unique story craft of its director Takashi Miike who raised his name with his cult classic violence film “Ichi the Killer”. The American remake however doesn’t trust on Miike’s hand to rewrite
