Though the majority of voters do try to make it the theater on Christmas Day, time permitting, those of us who would fall into a turkey coma if we sat in a dark theater for two hours aren't far behind. Personally, I prefer sitting at home all day, watching the movies Santa brought me.

For the next poll I want to know how many Best Picture nominees you think will be announced on January 24th, since there are no longer a guaranteed 10. Just take a wild (or educated) guess.

Most of us think 1 to 4 is an appropriate amount of dvds/Blu-Rays to ask for this time of year, but I was surprised by the 21% who dare ask for more than 10 on their Christmas wish list. Out of curiosity, how many do you typically receive?

For those of you who do watch horror films enough to have a preferred decade, that decade is the '80s, with the '70s not far behind. And silly me thought the '70s would easily come out on top. Then again, I'm also part of the 23% that don't watch enough horror films to know any better.

With the holiday season on our doorstep, I want to know how many dvds/Blu-Rays typically end up on the wishlist you'll pass out to anyone who even hints at buying you a gift. Do you want to add just a title or two to the shelve, or do you want to clean out the video section of your local electronics store?

With Halloween less than two weeks away, I wanna know: What is your favorite decade for horror films?

Out of the 25 titles listed in the last poll (several of which have now been released), Drive was the clear favorite upcoming fall/winter film with 17% of the vote. I hope it lived up to all the anticipation for those who have seen it. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (12%) and the American remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (11%) were the only other films to even get double digit votes.

So let's talk about the LAMBcast. Over the past year, several recurring general discussion topics have emerged. Which is your favorite?

It looks like those without Netflix think the rest of us are a bunch of crybabies about the recent price changes. Most of us with Netflix are okay with the price changes and plan on keeping both the dvd and streaming options, while some will choose to drop one or the other. Almost nobody is going to give it the boot altogether.

In time to coincide with the latest LAMBcast episode, I want to know what fall/winter release you're looking forward to the most. I narrowed the choices down to 25 for the poll (which was almost impossible), but if your pick isn't listed please let me know in the comments.

It seems most of us take scores from sites like Rotten Tomatoes into consideration for what films to watch, but they're not the absolute deciding factor, which is what I assumed. I was surprised at the 27% who ignore them completely.

Next, I want to know what your thoughts are on the recent Netflix price change. It seems to be a mixed bag of anger and apathy. What say you? Will you be keeping with Netflix all the way, dropping one of the options, or quitting altogether?
