Juno Going Strong with the Big Belly

“Juno” is a surprising hit that released at the end of last year and now still going very strong on the box office chart. Advantageous blend of limited competition, good critical acclaim, word of mouth and Golden Globe award nominations had pushed the modest-budget drama comedy to reach box office high position. With its $2.5 million budget, the film has made over $52 million in its first month of domestic release and had chosen by many movie critics on their top ten lists for 2007. The Dark Version of Hansel and Gretel Tale

Korean movie “Hansel and Gretel” is a fantasy-horror that (very) loosely based on or could be said as a reversal version of Brother Grimm’s famous fairy tale with the same title. Director Yim Pil-seong (“Antarctic Journal”) twisted the story to modern day Korea and used the idea of strange forest and house to explore deep into the dark side of human psyche and imagination. The movie itself of course wasn’t a suited to children film, but it was made for a mature watch basely on its creeps aura and some grisly graphic sequences. 2007 Has Been Less Pleasurable With…

To continue my post about the most pleasurable watch in 2007, now I listing the most disappointed movies of the year for me. And for one more time I want to say that these are comes purely from my opinion and it could be similar or diverse with anyone else think, just enjoy it and don’t forget to make your own list.

2007 Has Been More Pleasurable With…

As time pass by so fast, in just couple of days we have to say goodbye to this 2007, a year that already bring us some movies that of course much pleasurable to look at, even there are also several which had bring out disappointments.
