Next week, Classic Chops will continue to devote the entire month to linking to essays on films that summarize both Christmas and the holiday spirit. Normally, the criterion for submissions is usually set at films released in 1965 and before…but in the tradition of giving, I’m going to be most generous and not hold people to this—even though this risks multiple suggestions of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the *shudder* Jim Carrey version). Everybody has written something at one time or another about a holiday classic…so comb through your archives and look for something suitable—and if you can’t find anything, there certainly must be a post from a fellow blogger that fits the bill.
Simply send your submissions to classicchops@gmail.com by December 20th at 6:00pm EST …and any questions, comments, suggestions and stale fruitcake should be addressed to that same e-mail address as well. Thanks to everyone who submitted links this week, so let’s keep those cards and letters coming!
As always…until next time…see you at the movies!
